Scouting Is Adventure, Family, Fun, Character, Leadership and So Much More! We are blessed to live in Southern New England; one of the most historic and geographically unique areas of the country – providing endless opportunities to make the most from the BSA program. Our home-base is Camp Hadley, a campground left as part of a trust to the Boy Scouts of Marion alongside Mary’s Pond on the border of Marion and Rochester MA.
There are numerous mantras surrounding scouting. Generally speaking, being a scout is about being a good person. The official promise, motto, law, slogan, and code can be found below.
